5. What is your opinion about the crocodile’s decision to kill the monkey? Support your answer logically.

Answer: In my opinion, the crocodile took the wrong decision when he decided to be on the side of his wife. He must not have done so. He decided to kill the monkey just because she was his life-partner and wanted to eat his heart while monkey was his true friend, but he was ready to commit a crime to kill his friend for his wife. The crocodile must have discussed the issue with his wife and made her realise the importance of friendship in one’s life before taking the extreme step. He must have not taken such step even if she was not ready at any cost. The crocodile lost his friend forever after the incident. Thus, the monkey was quite right to break the friendship.
